It's Not Whether You Win Or Lose, It's How You Play The Game (Or What Hillary Clinton Won't Do To Win)
Prince Campbell | Mar 9 2008

One of the growing memes in the Blogosphere and on the streets is that Hillary Clinton is out to destroy the Democratic party.

I don’t think that’s true.

But what is true is that the Clintons have a history of doing whatever is neccesary to get and keep power. Even if that means lying.

The Hillary Clinton campaign is running on experience.

Um, what experience is she talking about?

She was only First Lady from 1992-2001 Not ambassador, Not Secretary of State , Not senator, Not an elected official of any kind...

So that being said we have to conclude that her vast experience in foreign affairs is her Husband’s. Right?

So that being said what credentials did Bill possess in 1992 to be the leader of the free world?

Was it his Charisma? Was it his ability to draw voters out that had been alienated by the process? Was it his ability to connect with the populous? Sounds pretty familiar...

And what of her argument that she should win because she has won the big states?

Hillary’s so called big state strategy is a loser; she only does it because her appeal is so limited.

In some of these large states she has done well because of name recognition and the fact that she got the local political machines behind her last year when she pushed her inevitability myth.

But most of these large states will automatically go for Obama or any Democrat in the general election anyway. I mean, does anyone expect NY or CA to not go blue in the general?

Even with these swing states of OH and PA, if Obama is the nominee, he would inherit all of her advantages in these states, namely the local Democratic machinery and get the name recognition.

Now Hillary would not nearly get all of Obama’s grassroots support. She would not get the key independents vote which would switch to McCain. And in those purple states where Obama beats McCain she would lose.

That is why she (and her husband) keep hinting @ a Hillary/Obama ticket.

The bottom line is that Obama is clearly the more electable, and that has not changed one bit.

So I don’t think she’s out to destroy the party. But she is out to win. And has shown she is willing to lie to do it.
